We would like to exchange homes with a family living in the San Jose/San Francisco area, three weeks (perhaps two) between June 10 and August 10 in 2008.

Take the opportunity to have a wonderful summer vacation in Europe. We have a modern house with four bedrooms only a five minute walk from the beach. Our house has all the facilities a family needs. A big kitchen, a new bathroom, three bedrooms with toys for the children and one master bedroom with entrance to the garden for the parents. Computer network with internet. Large screen TV and hundreds of DVDs including all Disney films. A nice garden for the kids to play in.

Take a bike
to the beach

The house is situated in a quiet area with large exclusive homes, no drive-through traffic, a walking distance to the food store and the beach. Malmo is famous as a bikers city. Take the bike to town and see a movie.

You can actually see Denmark and Copenhagen from our block, across the water. A 30 minute drive across the bridge and you are in Denmark. Or take the train. Three hours by car takes you to Hamburg in Germany. In the other direction, take a one hour drive to Smaland (Småland) if you want to trace your roots in Sweden or visit relatives. Five hours away is Stockholm with the ferry to Finland. Also five hours to Oslo in Norway.

We are looking for something that equals our house in the San Jose or Bay area. 3-5 bedrooms on a quiet street.

I work as a computer consultant, my wife is a surgical nurse. We have four children 4-11 years. We will leave your house exactly the same as when we arrived. We expect you to do the same.
